VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Inspiring the Leader in YOUth “G.R.I.T.” Conference

We are excited to invite our 2026 LLAA Members to participate in the Inspiring the Leader in Youth Forum on Wednesday, February 26, 2026, at Florida Southern College.

This year’s theme is G.R.I.T. – Growing Resilience, Initiative, and Tenacity, a message designed to equip high school student leaders with the mindset and tools they need to rise above challenges and lead with purpose. Since launching in 2014 with just 24 students, the forum has grown substantially to over 150 students, while staying true to its mission: inspiring youth leadership, fostering community engagement, and connecting students with meaningful guidance.

We are seeking 35–40 volunteers to serve as:

• Speaker/Segment Leaders (4): Facilitate engaging sessions on key topics. 1/2 hr increments 9-12pm

  • Speaker 1 Topic: "Resilience Isn’t Built in Comfort Zones" - How to turn failure into fuel for growth; Practical habits for mental strength; Stories of overcoming personal or academic adversity.
